Vin Diesel Sends Heartwarming Message to Robert Downey Jr. Inspired by Groot

Vin Diesel Posted A Message For Robert Downey Jr. & It Was Groot-ly Heartwarming

When it comes to screenwriting, most writers aim to create a story that completes a character’s journey within a 2-3 hour timeframe. Yet, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the masterminds behind Avengers: Endgame, have accomplished what many thought was impossible. They’ve broken down all the key elements of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and crafted an incredible, emotional payoff.

The culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame marked not only the conclusion of the story arcs of some of the franchise’s most important characters, but also the final film for the actors who portrayed them. As they had become deeply connected to their roles over the years, it was a poignant farewell that they have since honored by reminiscing about their favorite moments from filming Endgame.

This short video has a lot of amazing elements that are worth appreciating. Danai’s graceful dancing, Tessa’s infectious laughter, Mark’s cluelessness, Renner’s unique personality, and Rudd’s typical Rudd behavior all come together in this lovely clip. Chris Evans shared this delightful moment on his Twitter account on May 12, 2019.

Although many characters in the final film got plenty of screen time due to the epic battle, Vin Diesel’s Groot and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark did not even have a proper introduction. However, based on Diesel’s social media post, it appears as though the two have a strong bond as if they have known each other for a lifetime.

This snapshot was captured on the premiere weekend of Avengers: Endgame at a secret spot, and it’s evident that they share an affectionate bond.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has certainly been dominated by Tony Stark, played brilliantly by Robert Downey Jr. However, it’s important to recognize that RDJ played a significant role in bringing the franchise’s actors together as a cohesive unit. Seeing him retire his character was bittersweet, but as we know, comic-book characters have a tendency to make comebacks. Plus, with the concept of time travel in the MCU, there’s always a chance for characters to return from different realities. Fans can dream of a potential road-trip movie featuring Vin Diesel’s Groot and RDJ’s Iron Man teaming up once again.
