In Stockholm, Taylor Swift marked her 89th show of the Eras Tour by performing a medley of three songs from her fifth album.
In the unplugged performance, Swift performed a trio of tracks from the re-recorded album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” on the piano: “Say Don’t Go,” “Welcome to New York,” and “Clean.” The wristbands illuminated in a vibrant shade of blue, reminiscent of the era.
Fans came out in huge numbers to Friends Arena, setting a new attendance record for the venue, as announced by the singer during her first performance there. As she kicked off the second year of her epic tour, Swift introduced a “Tortured Poets” set and made other exciting changes to the show. The tour made a stop in Stockholm on Friday, where the city even went as far as renaming itself “Swiftholm” for a brief time. Catch her final show in the city this Sunday.
Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was not seen in Sweden after attending her 87th Eras Tour show in Paris, matching his Kansas City Chiefs jersey number, 87. Kelce was busy hosting his own music festival, Kelce Jam, in Bonner Springs, Kansas on Saturday night. Surprisingly, tickets for Swift’s Stockholm show were listed on StubHub.com for as low as $100 to $170 for floor seats, and some stadium seats were going for just $60. In contrast, resale prices for her U.S. shows are reaching the four to five-digit range. Swift’s next destination on her tour will be Lisbon, Portugal.
