JAKARTA – Iko Uwais has returned to Indonesia after completing the shooting of his latest film abroad titled The Expendables 4. His close relationship with Jason Statham previously caught the attention of many.
Suaмi Audy Iteм then shared his experience while shooting in Hollywood. Meeting with top stars like Sylʋester Stallone and Jason Stathaм, Iko Uwais found it to be a truly valuable experience. It was not uncommon for the 38-year-old actor to exchange ideas with these Hollywood stars.
“It was such a valuable experience for me to be in the same frame as senior actors who have a lot of experience, and to share thoughts with them. They were beyond our expectations,” said Iko Uwais to the media in central Jakarta, as quoted on Sunday (12/26/2021).
Iko Uwais feels extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to act alongside Hollywood actors. Moreover, his journey in the acting world has been quite long so far. He also takes the time to express his gratitude to the Creator.
“That’s one of the choices, a miracle from Allah SWT, that I was entrusted with,” Iko Uwais continued.
The closeness between Iko Uwais and Jason Statham has been a subject of attention. Both actors have publicly praised each other through their Instagram posts.
Born on February 12, 1983, Iko Uwais continues to express gratitude for his experiences in Hollywood. Despite never training together, Iko Uwais feels that he quickly builds chemistry with his co-star.
“I consider myself lucky. Even though we never meet for training on set, the difference between someone experienced and someone who is instantly good is huge. When we share chemistry on set, he brings out the best in me, and I find it very easy to create a relaxed atmosphere,” explained Iko Uwais.
