Travis Kelce’s Karaoke Tribute to Taylor Swift: A Fun Twist on the Eras Tour Moves

Travis Kelce always makes sure to let everyone know that he is dating Taylor Swift. While many of his fellow athletes were at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 11, Kelce was strutting his stuff at a charity karaoke competition in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, showing off the dance moves he learned from Swift. However, his rendition of White Snake’s “Here I Go Again” was not the only memorable part of the night.

In his latest viral moment, Kelce made sure to express his appreciation for his girlfriend of almost a year during his victory speech. “Taylor, this one’s for you,” he exclaimed with fake tears while accepting an award for his outstanding performance at the American Century Championship charity golf event. Luckily, Sports Radio 810 WHB captured the heartfelt moment and shared it on X.com.
While many fans found humor in Kelce’s theatrical tribute, one observant viewer pointed out that the football star, dressed in a “USA” shirt and cargo shorts, seemed to be mimicking his girlfriend’s dance moves from her Eras Tour during his performance. This mimicry comes as no surprise, as Swift herself has been known to do the same during her recent concerts.

“Someone on TikTok pointed out that Travis Kelce bears a resemblance to Taylor Swift in certain lighting,” the post read, citing lyrics from Swift’s track “Clara Bow.” The video shows Kelce imitating Swift’s moves from “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and performing the choreography from “My Tears Ricochet.” Commenters joked about the two potentially going on tour together, with one saying, “I bet Taylor is getting a kick out of these videos.”

Maybe Kelce kept some of these moves under wraps during his debut Eras Tour performance back in June. In case you forgot, Kelce surprised everyone by joining his girlfriend on stage in London for a vaudeville act sandwiched between “TSMWEL” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
On the New Heights podcast, Kelce reminisced, “I kept telling myself, ‘Don’t mess this up. Don’t drop Taylor. Just get her safely to that darn couch.’ I had some extra ideas in mind, and who knows, maybe I’ll unleash them if I ever get the chance to do it again.”
