Travis Kelce Dedicates Karaoke Award to Taylor as he Nails Whitesnake Cover

Travis Kelce surprised everyone at the American Century Championship charity golf tournament by dedicating a special award to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The Kelce brothers showed up at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, on Thursday, July 11, where Travis, 34, wowed the crowd with his singing during a karaoke contest.

Travis Kelce wowed the crowd with his rendition of Whitesnake’s classic song “Here I Go Again” at a karaoke event. The Kansas City Chiefs player was crowned the karaoke champion, and he didn’t forget to mention Taylor Swift, who was also in attendance, when accepting the award.

Once his name was announced, the athlete couldn’t contain his joy and playfully pretended to shed tears as he grabbed the microphone and quipped, “This one’s for you, Taylor,” in a clip posted on X. Travis then proudly raised his award and declared to the crowd, “I appreciate all of you!” A video on the Instagram page of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast captured Travis pouring his heart into belting out a Whitesnake tune.

“No one can top @killatrav’s commanding presence on stage,” the caption of the video stated, with the words “Travis on stage in Tahoe” displayed on the screen.
Some of Travis’s memorable karaoke performances at the charity event in the past include his rendition of Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble’s “Pride and Joy” in 2022, as captured in a clip posted on X, as well as his energetic rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” in 2019.
This year, Travis impressed with his vocal skills once again when he took the microphone to address Chiefs fans during the 2024 Super Bowl victory parade in February.

Slurring his words slightly, Travis addressed the crowd with a playful grin, urging them, “Join in if you know this tune!” as he launched into his rendition of Garth Brooks’ classic “Friends in Low Places” from 1990.
Starting off with, “Blame it on my roots, showed up in my boots, and crashed the Niners party,” Travis amusingly scrolled through the lyrics on his phone.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted at the 2024 Super Bowl. Sometime earlier, Travis Kelce attempted to give his number to Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour performance, and the outcome was pure fate.
Continuing to belt out the lyrics, he added, “Grabbed that glass of champagne…” glancing over at his teammate Patrick Mahomes and teasing, “Hey Pat, that glass of champagne is all you, I swear!”

As the karaoke session went on, Travis sang and raised a toast to his friends, with Patrick eventually joining in to help with the rest of the song. Moving away from the karaoke fun, Travis has been by Taylor’s side during her Eras Tour, providing his support. Together, they were seen leaving the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam hand in hand after Taylor’s third successful show at the venue on Saturday, July 6.

She is on her way to Milan, Italy for two back-to-back concerts at San Siro Stadium scheduled for Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th.
