A volunteer discovered him at the shelter, where he was promptly brought in and given necessary medical attention. Isumu was provided a cozy bed, where he could finally find some much-needed rest. The shelter staff not only cleaned and tended to his wounds, but also ensured he had plenty to eat and drink. For the first time in a while, Isumu experienced a sense of being cared for and loved.
Fast forward to Day 10, and Isumu’s recovery was visibly underway. As his wounds gradually healed, his fur began to grow back, transforming his appearance. No longer emitting the odor of decaying flesh, his eyes reflected a newfound happiness and contentment.
Day 80: At long last, a delightful family arrived at the shelter, eager to bring a furry companion home. Upon laying eyes on Isumu, their hearts were instantaneously captivated, infatuated with the charming pup.
There was an undeniable strength and determination that hid beneath his rough exterior, and they sensed that he was the perfect dog for them. Isumu’s new family took him to their home, where they showered him with love and devotion.
He no longer experienced pain in silence or wished for someone to come to his rescue. At last, he found solace in having a place he could call home and a loving family who embraced him wholeheartedly.
