Taylor Swift is not only dominating stages worldwide and contributing to the growth of the U.S. economy, but she is also venturing into the world of filmmaking. Laura Dern is enthusiastic about collaborating with the music sensation on any project she chooses to pursue. Dern expressed her admiration by saying, “Wherever Taylor decides to go, count me in. I have a lot of love for her.”
She enjoyed being involved in it and spoke highly of Swift’s talents. “She is the real deal – in addition to all the other amazing things she does, she is a genuine filmmaker, as I had the opportunity to see for myself,” Dern expressed. “I am eager to see where she takes this part of her journey next.”
Taylor Swift is set to both write and direct her first feature film for Searchlight Pictures. Although she is occupied with her Eras Tour, the timeline for the movie’s production is not yet certain. It remains unknown if Laura Dern will have a part in the film, but it is exciting to hear that the “Big Little Lies” star is eager to be involved if given the opportunity.
While Swift isn’t a part of the cast for Dern’s show “Palm Royale” on Apple TV+, Dern and her producing partner Jayme Lemons are open to collaborating with her on a future project. Lemons humorously refers to it as “Jaywalker: Taylor’s Version” since their production company, Jaywalker Pictures, is a creation they manage together.
