She has her own unique style and is rarely a slave to fashion.
But when Taylor Swift tried out the hot look of the moment – a tummy baring crop top – she did so with lashings of elegance.
The 24-year-old looked lovely in a polka-dot ensemble as she stepped out in New York on Monday.

Although the Back to December star was flashing the flesh, she still kept it stylish with a not-too-revealing bustier which featured a sweetheart neckline.
She showed off her enviably flat stomach by pairing it with a high-waisted skirt which included a seductive split at the front.
On her feet she donned a pair of nude peep-toe sandals with a slingback buckle, elongating her slim and tanned pins.

She slicked on her trademark red lipstick and curled her hair into gentle waves, sweeping her fringe to one side and pinning a portion above her ear.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty just enjoyed a weekend of epic 4th of July celebrations and invited many of her famous girlfriends and their significant others, including Lena Dunham, Emma Stone and Jaime King.

They all posed for a ‘family portrait’ at the pop star’s luxurious home in Rhode Island to document the occasion, and followed it up with another group shot on a fancy yacht the next day.
Her friend Jaime, 35, uploaded her own snap of the yacht party which featured Emma, Taylor, actress Odeya Rush, Jessica Szohr, musician Ingrid Michaelson, and model Amanda Griffith.
