During the filming of the music video “Copa Vacía,” Shakira wore a mermaid tail. In a recent interview, the Colombian singer revealed that the set had been flooded due to a broken fish tank, and she had to be rescued by the production team. Unfortunately for Shakira, her mermaid tail prevented her from escaping on her own, so she had to be lifted out with a crane. Despite the scary incident, Shakira reassured fans that it was just a minor mishap and that she’s still here to tell the tale.

Undoubtedly, it was a very risky situation for the singer. However, thankfully, it only became an anecdote and did not escalate into something more serious. Currently, the music video “Copa Vacía” by Shakira and Manuel Turizo is becoming a hit, garnering over 44 million views on YouTube. Although it is performing well on Google’s platform, it did not make it to the Top Global 50 on Spotify, unlike the Bizarrap session which is currently in the top 30, and “TQG” with Karol G at number 38.
