Her recent trip to Cannes, however, was the opposite of low-key. The actress and singer attended the premiere of her latest zombie movie, The Dead Don’t Die, alongside co-stars Bill Murray, Austin Butler, and Adam Driver.
In the upcoming movie A Rainy Day in New York, Selena Gomez will be lending her voice to Betsy’s character from The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle. Interestingly, Selena also stars in the Woody Allen directed flick which had its trailer released on his Facebook page last Thursday.
The drama boasts a star-studded cast including Liev Schreiber, Diego Luna, Elle Fanning, and Timothee Chalamet. Furthermore, the famous personality is rumored to be releasing a new album later this year, which would be their first since 2015.
During a podcast chat with Coach, she mentioned that her aim with her latest album was to make it entirely her own. She clarified that all the songs on the record were inspired by her personal experiences, and thus, no one could tell her story better than herself. She further shared that her goal was to spend some time with her narrative and transform it into something that held deep significance to her. As someone who has lived through every event depicted in the songs, she felt like she was the most qualified person to convey her emotions and thoughts through them.
