Scarlett Johansson, who is often seen at glamorous red carpet events, is now opting for a more casual look while in quarantine. The 35-year-old actress was recently seen wearing sweats as she stepped out to get takeout breakfast in the Hamptons. It is assumed that she was getting breakfast not only for herself but also for her fiancé, Colin Jost. The couple has been spending quality time together during the pandemic but unfortunately, their wedding plans have been put on hold due to the current crisis.
In a low-key sighting, actress Scarlett Johansson was seen donning a relaxed attire as she stepped out in the Hamptons to grab a takeout breakfast, presumably for herself and her fiancé Colin Jost. It seems like Scarlett started her day off right by indulging in the most important meal of the day, which she picked up from a local eatery near their quarantine abode. Keeping it casual yet cute, the stunning actress wore a gray hooded sweatshirt adorned with a charming cartoon apple tree design. Complementing her cozy top, she opted for cropped cream and gray striped sweatpants, coupled with sleek black slides. Pulling her blonde locks back into a tousled ponytail, Scarlett completed her look with tinted glasses and a medical-grade face mask.
Casual and adorable: The curvaceous stunner flaunted a delightful and relaxed appearance, donning a cozy gray sweatshirt. The front of the sweatshirt featured a charming cartoon depiction of an apple tree, complementing her choice of striped cropped sweatpants.
Taking refuge: Scarlett and Colin have been weathering the storm of the pandemic in the blissful confines of the Hamptons. As fate would have it, the looming crisis has compelled them to reschedule their much-anticipated wedding.
She had to delay her wedding with Colin Jost, who is a comedian on SNL, because of the pandemic. In an interview on Andy Cohen Live, the 38-year-old comedian discussed the reasons behind the postponement. He emphasized the importance of not putting elderly and at-risk relatives at risk by gathering them together in a large group. The future date for their wedding remains uncertain, as they are still unsure about the feasibility of hosting a live show for SNL, let alone a wedding with elderly attendees.
“Now is not the appropriate time to gather all your older family members, especially those who are at higher risk, in one large gathering,” advised the Jost during a candid conversation with Andy Cohen. “As for when that moment will arrive, I cannot say for certain.”
In his fresh release A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, Jost reminisced about his initial encounter with Johansson on the SNL set back in 2006. It was during her guest hosting stint when he was working as a writer. At that moment, she struck him as exceptionally sophisticated, and her beauty, intelligence, and sweet nature left a lasting impression on him. Jost commended the A-list actress for possessing a unique grace and a smile that he has yet to witness in any other person. In his book, he expresses gratitude to Johansson for instilling confidence in him both personally and professionally. Their love story began in 2017, culminating in their engagement in May 2019. Notably, Johansson has been married twice before, once to Ryan Reynolds from 2008-2011 and later to Romain Dauriac from 2014-2017.
Informal: In his latest memoir titled A Very Punchable Face, Jost takes us back to the time he first encountered Johansson on the SNL set in 2006. He hilariously describes how she appeared incredibly sophisticated and somewhat intimidating to him at that moment. Just picture Scarlett and Amy Poehler ruling the SNL stage back then!
