Dwayne Johnson, famously called ‘The Rock’, is a widely adored international star. The Rock skyrocketed to fame through his time with WWE, which also served as his gateway to Hollywood, where he delivered outstanding performances in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series and films like ‘Pain & Gain’, ‘Hercules’, and ‘San Andreas.’
In 1996, The Rock burst onto the wrestling scene, embarking on a remarkable journey that would establish him as one of the most prominent figures in the industry. With relentless determination, he clinched his inaugural world championship in 1998, igniting a reign of triumph that saw him seize a grand total of 10 championships. Among these glorious victories, The Rock commanded the prestigious WWE title on eight occasions and triumphed twice as the WCW World Champion.
The Rock possesses an incredibly masculine physique that is quite difficult to attain without any assistance. The WWE superstar has faced allegations of using steroids frequently. The most recent accusation comes from Ronnie Coleman, a legendary eight-time Mr. Olympia champion. Coleman was a guest on a show hosted by Ranveer Ahluwalia, where he was asked to speculate if various celebrities were using steroids. When shown a photo of The Rock, Coleman nodded in agreement, stating that the WWE star appears to be using steroids.
Coleman was also shown pictures of athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, but he acknowledged that Ronaldo’s physique appears to be natural.
This is not the first time that The Rock has been accused of using steroids. Previously, Joe Rogan, an American UFC color commentator and podcaster with over 14 million subscribers on his YouTube channel PowerfulJRE, made similar claims about The Rock.
“I think it’s time for The Rock to come clean. I really need to have a conversation with him because it seems like he’s been deceiving us. Honestly, there’s absolutely no way he’s clean. None at all. Let’s face it, The Rock’s physique is incredible, especially for someone who is now 50 years old. He looks so different from how he looked when he was in his 30s,” expressed Joe Rogan.
Despite these accusations, The Rock has consistently denied ever using steroids. In an interview with MTV, while promoting his movie Race to Witch Mountain, Dwayne Johnson confessed that he did experiment with steroids during his teenage years but has since sworn off them.
“I have to admit, I did try steroids along with my buddies when I was around the age of 18 or 19. We were clueless about the consequences and didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into,” confessed Dwayne Johnson.
