She wore a loose black sweater with a pullover hoodie and paired it with a pair of slouchy grey sweatpants with writing down one leg. To complete her look, she carried a black leather luxury purse with gold hardware crossbody and donned casual fluffy shoes with a tiny platform that showed off her black pedicure. Selena carried her groceries in a shopping bag, using both her hands, before heading back to her car in the seaside area.
Recently, the crooner made a noteworthy appearance at the White House in Washington, DC. She attended the Mental Health Youth Action Forum to advance her advocacy for mental health. The event united budding leaders who are crafting groundbreaking tactics to aid mental health in the country.
Selena, who founded the Rare Impact Fund charity organization, openly shared her struggles with anxiety and bipolar disorder, emphasizing that “talking about it makes it easier to handle.”
According to her, understanding her mental state gave her the freedom to accept and be content with herself. This shows that discussing mental health should be normalized and not something to be ashamed of. She also emphasized that mental health services should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, and urged others to take action in de-stigmatizing mental health and increasing access to resources and programs for young individuals.
On Monday, Selena shared two snapshots of herself sporting a Prada coat on her social media account. Unfortunately, that was the last time she was seen active on the platform. In one of the photos, she playfully placed her finger in her mouth and wrote, “Maybe she’s just lol.”
