Taylor Swift, in addition to her massive stadium tours and stimulating the U.S. economy, is making a splash in the film industry. Laura Dern is eager to collaborate with the singer on any project she chooses. “I’m all in wherever Taylor leads. I adore her,” Dern shared with TheWrap.
She thoroughly enjoyed being involved in that project, commending Swift’s talents. “She’s the real deal – in addition to all the other incredible things she does, she’s a genuine filmmaker, as I had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand,” Dern stated. “I can’t wait to see where she goes next in her filmmaking journey.”
Swift is set to both write and direct her first feature film for Searchlight Pictures. Despite her busy schedule with the Eras Tour, it’s uncertain when the movie will be completed. It’s unknown if Dern will have a role in the film, but it’s good to hear that the “Big Little Lies” star is eager to be a part of it.
While Swift is not part of the cast of Dern’s new Apple TV+ show “Palm Royale,” Dern and her producing partner Jayme Lemons are open to the idea of collaborating with Swift on a future project. Lemons humorously refers to this potential collaboration as “Jaywalker: Taylor’s Version,” playing on the name of their production company, Jaywalker Pictures.
