Katy Perry rocks double denim at the CMA Awards

Last night, the biggest names in country music gathered to celebrate the CMA awards in Nashville, a mecca for this genre. Luke Byan returned as host this year, joined by Peyton Manning as co-host. The highlight of the night was Luke Combs, who took home the ‘Artist of the Year’ award, but when it comes to style, all eyes were on Katy Perry.
The singer rocked two full denim looks, both on the red carpet and during her performance. The ‘total denim’ look was the perfect choice for the event, fitting right in with the country style, and Katy pulled it off flawlessly. The credit for this outfit goes to stylist Tatiana Waterford, who often dresses the singer.
For the red carpet look, they chose a wide leg pants set with a maxi bow on one side, paired with a V-neck top with off-the-shoulder straps.

However, that wasn’t the only moment of the night when Katy chose denim to shine. The singer performed alongside Thomas Rhett, singing their new song ‘Where We Started’. For this performance, Katy took her country style up a notch by wearing a long denim dress with a hip-high slit covered in fringe, revealing black boots and fishnet stockings that completed the look. Additionally, the strapless dress featured a round cut-out on one side of the waist and a train, and she topped it off with the perfect cowboy hat for the occasion.
