In an unexpected move, Angelina Jolie, a mother of six kids, recently bared it all for Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s December issue. Besides the revealing photoshoot, she also candidly opened up about her personal life.

Angelina Jolie accepted to be the cover face of fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar.  The actress undressed, revealing her sexy body through a veil.  After many years, Jolie felt comfortable being naked in public.  She confided: Part of us is freedom, wildness, openness and curiosity - things that can be closed by the sufferings of life.  My children know who I really am and they help me find myself to embrace it.

In her photo shoot, she can be seen without any clothes and with a veil draped over her body. For a long time, Jolie did not feel at ease revealing her naked body in front of others. However, after some time, she has grown to be more confident and comfortable in her own skin. She expressed that the hardships of life can sometimes make us lose our sense of freedom, curiosity, and spontaneity. But her children have helped her rediscover her true self.

The 44-year-old actress gets honest about herself: My body has been through a lot over the past decade, especially the past four years.  I have both visible and invisible scars in it.  Jolie once underwent a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer and then continued to have her ovaries removed.

In an open and candid manner, the Hollywood star, who is 44 years old, revealed that her body has gone through a lot during the last ten years, especially in the past four. Jolie has revealed that it’s the pain that can’t be seen that affects her the most. It’s clear that her unsuccessful marriage with Pitt was on her mind when she said, “Dealing with physical scars is easier than dealing with emotional ones. Life can take unexpected twists, and sometimes, when you get hurt, it’s by someone you love.” Love can be agonizing, and it can hinder one’s ability to be vulnerable and open their heart. But Jolie has found a way to move forward. She shared, “I can feel my heartbeat again, and it’s a sign that I’m healing.”

Jolie recalls the free, rebellious time in her twenties: At school, I was not a popular person.  I like rock music, wearing leather, PVC and fishnet stockings.  Those were my three favorite things in my 20s.  The actress said that she still had the same personality when she married her first husband Jonny Lee Miller. During those years, Jolie also freely pursued her own passions: When I was young, I focused on the things I wanted to do. what I don't have.  I travel, enjoy my freedom, and get to know others around the world.  After that, I was free to get married, create art, and play the roles I liked.  That is also one of the reasons I have invested in building schools for girls in many different countries.

Jolie reminisces about her carefree and rebellious twenties, where she embraced her love for rock music, clothing made of leather, PVC, and fishnet stockings. During this period, Jolie pursued her passions without any inhibitions, traveling, experiencing freedom, and gaining knowledge about different cultures around the world. This time of exploration enabled her to pursue her interests in art and acting freely and led her to invest in building schools for girls in various countries.

The actress shared that if she were not currently tied to Brad Pitt to raise her children, she would go abroad to live with the children.  I want to live abroad and will do it when my children are all 18 years old.  Currently, I am living in the place the children's father chose.

The female performer revealed that if she didn’t have to stay in Los Angeles to take care of her kids with Brad Pitt, she would move overseas. She disclosed, “When my children are all grown up and 18 years old, I would love to live abroad. I’m currently living in the place where their father chose for us.”

The female star said that her children also experienced a lot of trauma in the past when their parents divorced.  However, the children were stronger than she was worried about.  I learn from their strength, Jolie confessed.

According to the actress, her kids went through a tough time when she and her former partner split up, but they managed to pull through. Jolie admires their resilience and has taken lessons from it.

Regarding her role as a mother, Jolie said she does not pressure herself to be a perfect mother.  Putting people into stereotypes would no longer be freedom, she reasoned.  Differences and diversity in my family and others have always been the values ​​I value most.  I don't want to live in a world where everyone is the same.  I want to meet people I've never met and learn things I don't know.

Jolie shared her approach to motherhood, stating that she doesn’t strive to be flawless. She explained in the movie “Mrs. Smith” that she believes categorizing individuals would restrict them from experiencing true freedom. Jolie values differences and diversity among her family and others. She expressed her desire to live in a world where people are not identical and wishes to meet new people and learn from them.
