Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have let the world know that they are not only The Morning Show co-stars, but also close friends.
Jennifer, 54, and Reese, 47, looked to be having a ball as they posed together for the cover of the Emmy edition of Variety.
In their interview, they got candidaout how close they are after first working together on Friends about 20 years ago.
‘We’re partners. We’re friends. We’re girlfriends, and we share all sorts of heartbreaks in life and love and everything,’ Jennifer told the outlet.
Reese, who launched the show through her Hello Sunshine company said, ‘There’s a comfort to that. It’s just mutual respect and years of experience.’
‘And I think we’re both incredulous that we’re both still kicking around!
‘That we’re still working at this level is such a privilege. It’s an honor to get to contribute to something that’s really speaking about the world we live in nowadays.’
A playful photo session for Variety magazine highlighted the close bond between Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston, aged 54, and Reese Witherspoon, who is 47 years old.

The two women have been acquainted since Reese made an appearance on the popular show Friends, portraying the role of Rachel’s younger sister. While catching up, Reese commented that she still looked young and tiny like a little sister to her. She even jokingly referred to herself as a “baby with a baby” during her nursing days on the set of Friends. Her friend was stunned by how amazing Reese’s children looked and praised them. Reese went on to correct her friendaout having three children instead of two, to which her friend playfully acknowledged her forgetfulness. The article named them “Work Wives,” emphasizing their long-lasting and affectionate relationship.
On the cover of the edition, they were dubbed as ‘Work Wives’ and spoke openly about their enduring and affectionate bond. Jennifer expressed, “We are not only partners, but also friends and girlfriends who support each other through all the ups and downs in life, including heartbreaks in love.”
Jennifer showcased her impressive leg muscles in a chic ensemble consisting of leather shorts, black tights, and pumps. She paired the look with a short-sleeved black sweater featuring a daringly low neckline. Meanwhile, Reese opted for a more professional appearance by wearing a matching black pencil skirt and blouse during the modeling session.
The actress from Murder Mystery flaunted her well-toned legs in leather shorts, paired with black tights and high-heeled pumps. She opted for a short-sleeved black sweater featuring a plunging neckline and styled her champagne blonde hair in natural waves. On the other hand, Reese took a more professional approach during the modeling session, wearing a black pencil skirt matched with a blouse buttoned up to the collar. She rolled up her sleeves to create a comfortable and relaxed look. Her long and straight golden blonde hair was parted in the center with a little bit of bounce, while both women rocked camera-ready makeup with neutral pink lips.
The duo appeared to be having fun as they goofedaound, standing side by side with curious expressions on their faces during their initial interview following the end of the actors’ strike in November.
In another photo, they are seen creating mustaches from their own hair. According to Reese, both of them are amazed that they are still active in the industry at this level. They consider it a privilege to still be working. This was in reference to their roles in The Morning Show.

It’s also up for six Critics Choice awards, with both Reese and Jennifer receiving Best Actress nominations. At the Emmys, the show earned three nods, including a Best Actress nomination for Reese.
