Jennifer Aniston has a lighthearted perspective on her past, even when it comes to her high-profile relationships. During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday, the actress made jokes about her former romances, including her marriage to Brad Pitt (from 2000 to 2005) and her marriage to Justin Theroux (from 2015 to 2017).

The popular TV series “Friends” star was discussing her friendship with Adam Sandler when she made the comment. Fallon asked her if she and Sandler have given each other any good advice over their long-lasting relationship, to which Aniston replied with a smile, “Well, if I get anything from him, it’s, ‘What are you doing?’ Usually based on someone I’m dating. ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?'”

Aniston—who wore a black one-shoulder dress by Bottega Veneta with a sculptural golden metal strap and matching black strappy sandals for the appearance—didn’t go into any specifics after that. In the past, however, she has spoken kindly of her famous exes.

After the highly-anticipated 2020 SAG Awards reunion, the actress opened up about her current relationship with Pitt. “Brad and I are buddies, we’re friends,” Aniston said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “We speak, there’s no awkwardness at all.”

And just last year, she and Theroux showed they, too, remain good friends. After Aniston shared a photo of her Allure cover image on Instagram following her tell-all interview with the magazine, Theroux left her a comment of support: “👊❤️.”
