Forbes released a list on June 1st of the most independent and wealthiest women in the United States. The ranking includes successful female entrepreneurs, CEOs, and entertainment artists in America. The list features 100 individuals, categorized by specific industries.
Taylor Swift and Rihanna are the two highest-earning female singers in the United States music industry.
In the music industry, Rihanna is the richest artist in the US with a net worth of $1.4 billion, surpassing Taylor Swift, who is in second place with $740 million. Among the top 100 individuals ranked, Rihanna is at number 20, while Taylor Swift is placed at 34.
The reason for the nearly double difference between Rihanna and Taylor Swift, Forbes explains, is that Rihanna’s income comes from music and her Fenty Beauty cosmetics brand that she has built, while Taylor Swift only earns from music.
Over the past year, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand has seen a doubling of revenue from the previous year. The singer also owns a 30% stake in the lingerie brand Savage x Fenty, which is valued at $1 billion.
The list of the 100 richest women also includes other famous personalities such as media mogul Oprah Winfrey with a net worth of $2.5 billion (ranked 13th); Kim Kardashian with $1.2 billion (ranked 21st); Kylie Jenner with $680 million (ranked 38th); Madonna with $580 million (ranked 45th) surpassing Beyonce – $540 million (ranked 48th); and Celine Dion with $480 million (ranked 56th)…

The top three wealthiest self-made women in the United States are Diane Hendricks in the first position with a wealth of 15 billion USD in the construction material sector, Judy Love & Family in the second position with assets of 10.2 billion USD, and Judy Faulkner in the third position in the healthcare sector with 7.4 billion USD.
