She works HARD! Margot's trainer, Andie Hecker, previously told People the star trained for three hours most days whilst she was filming Suicide Squad

Margot’s trainer, Andie Hecker, previously shared how hard the actress worked to maintain her body during the filming of Suicide Squad. According to Hecker, Margot trained for three hours most days. She was dedicated and determined to achieve the desired shape for her character’s outfit, particularly the famous short shorts. Andie guided Margot through various exercises, such as Pilates, ballet, and non-bulking cardio like jump rope and ballet jumps. Surprisingly, Andie found the ballet jumps to be the most challenging form of cardio she had encountered. Additionally, they incorporated heavy-weighted arabesque pulls and ballet style lifts with ankle weights to sculpt and lift Margot’s well-known posterior. For the outer thighs, they focused on high reps and low weights to create a seamless line from the waist to the upper thigh. Together, Margot and Andie put in the effort to achieve the desired results for her role in the film.

Speaking about how she got into shape to rock the famously short shorts she wore in the film, her trainer said: 'She was a total trooper'

When discussing how she prepared for her role in the movie, her trainer commended her for being incredibly dedicated. He said, “She was extremely committed and didn’t let anything stand in her way.”

In an interview with TV Week, Margot shared her perspective on her physique for her character in The Legend Of Tarzan. Despite being part of another major Hollywood production, she made the deliberate choice not to lose weight for the role of Jane. Instead of attending training sessions during filming, she chose to unwind at the iconic pubs of London. She explained that she didn’t want to portray a too-thin version of Jane because the film is set in the 19th century. In her opinion, it made sense for the character to have a bit of weight, and she emphasized that she didn’t want to appear thin just for the sake of it.

“I’m not going to prioritize being thin just for the sake of it,” Margot once shared with TV Week, admitting that she would even forgo training sessions while filming Tarzan to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of London’s renowned pubs instead.
