Excitement filled the air at the House of Blues on Monday night as the eager crowd eagerly awaited the appearance of Dua Lipa for her highly anticipated sold-out show. Bathed in a soft glow of stage lights, the band members’ silhouettes could be discerned as they kicked off the performance with a captivating instrumental introduction to Lipa’s chart-topping track, “Hotter than Hell.” In a whirlwind of energy, Lipa burst onto the stage donning a silky orange top and loose-fitting plaid pants, urging the audience to raise their hands and join in the singing. Without hesitation, the crowd enthusiastically followed suit, instantly igniting an electric atmosphere.

Expressing her gratitude, Lipa shared her excitement about being back on tour and thanked the audience for their unwavering support. Following this spirited introduction, she effortlessly transitioned into more mellow tunes such as “Dreams/ No Lie” and “Lost in Your Light.” However, it didn’t take long for Lipa to rally the crowd once again by asking if they were ready to continue dancing, leading into an instant crowd-pleaser, “Blow Your Mind.” As Lipa gracefully glided across the stage, the crowd’s enthusiasm surged to even greater heights, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

Following the performance of her song, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” Dua Lipa joyfully accepted a flag from a fan in the front row. The flag was adorned with heartfelt messages from her Boston fans, reading “Boston Loves You.” Appreciating the gesture, Lipa expressed her gratitude, remarking, “This is incredible. Thank you for making this such a pleasurable experience.”

Lipa chose to leave the flag on stage for the duration of the show, allowing all attendees to admire the heartfelt messages. Continuing her performance, she proceeded to sing her first ever promotional single, “New Love.” Her latest album, “Dua Lipa,” has received immense popularity, with five of the songs entering the top 40 charts. Notably, Lipa co-wrote nine out of the twelve songs featured on the album.

Towards the end of her set, Lipa requested for the house lights to be raised so she could see her dedicated fans filling the venue. She performed two songs from her new album, “Homesick,” and her debut standalone single, “Be the One.” Closing the night with her highly anticipated hit, “New Rules,” Lipa was met with roaring cheers from the crowd. She encouraged them to sing along, creating an unforgettable moment. Before bidding farewell, she expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the crowd, saying, “Thank you for being so much fun and for being a part of this incredible journey.”
