Back in February 2014’s issue of Potato Magazine, BTS members compared each other to various animals. The selection was based on both physical characteristics and personality traits. Each member received their animal designation, which we’ve listed below.
On Weverse, the BTS members recently discussed which animal they think best represents their leader, RM. V chimed in, stating that he believes RM resembles a fox due to his thin lips, striking eyes, and anxious tendencies. V also noted that while RM exudes confidence on stage, he can be timid in more relaxed settings, which further adds to his “fox-like” qualities.
Jungkook thinks that Jin has a wolf-like appearance, but a sloth-like personality. Despite this, he considers him to be the granny of the BTS group because he is kind and an excellent cook. Jin may look tough and masculine, but he is actually carefree and relaxed. The nickname ‘granny’ is just a playful, affectionate term that the group uses among themselves.
3. Suga
During the interview, Suga was not around but it is evident that his demeanor resembles that of a feline.
Jin humorously likened J-Hope to a cute little beagle puppy due to his tendency to be messy and physically affectionate. According to Jin, J-Hope leaves things in disarray at home and loves to cuddle up to people frequently.
J-Hope has a unique view of Jimin, comparing him to a cute but disobedient dog. It’s true that Jimin does have a certain charm that could be reminiscent of a four-legged friend, and he also has a stubborn streak where he tends to go his own way. J-Hope’s playful observation adds to the fun dynamic of their group.
According to Jimin, V’s appearance doesn’t resemble any animal he knows. Instead, he thinks that V looks more like an extraterrestrial being. Jimin finds V’s behavior peculiar and quirky, making him seem even more alien-like.
RM has an interesting way of describing Jungkook – he sees him as a clever fox who mimics a sturdy bear. The reason for his comparison may be because Jungkook is alert and agile, always turning his head quickly. He also seems to have a good sense of etiquette and manners, but don’t be fooled – he can be just as playful and animated as a lively beagle. Despite his lack of aegyo, or exaggerated cuteness and charm, Jungkook is a chatterbox who loves to talk.
