This dog is definitely not a fan of frolicking in the snow! Lacey, the bulldog, reluctantly participated in a game of fetch after a recent snowstorm hit Surrey, Canada. Despite her owner Adam Lowe’s efforts to get her excited about chasing a snowball, Lacey put in a half-hearted attempt before ultimately giving up on the mission.
Adam Lowe attempted to pique his dog Lacey’s interest in a game of fetch using a snowball, but she didn’t seem too eager to participate.
Lowe’s voice rang out as he asked, “What’s that over there, Lacey?” He then playfully tossed the snowball into the air and urged her to go and retrieve it.
Lacey was surrounded by a blanket of snow as she attempted to take a few steps forward before changing her mind and heading back. Across British Columbia, numerous schools were closed due to the heavy snowfall, with some areas receiving over 23 inches of snow over the weekend. In Surrey, a town located about 22 miles southeast of Vancouver, Adam Lowe decided to take his adored bulldog for a walk in the freshly fallen powder. Lowe captured the adorable moment in a video he uploaded to YouTube, where he can be seen trying to capture Lacey’s interest with a snowball. With enthusiasm, Lowe called out to Lacey, encouraging her to fetch the snowball he tossed into the air. Despite her initial hesitation, Lacey only managed to take a couple of steps before deciding to head back.
Lowe made another attempt, tossing a snowball a short distance, before Lacey followed suit with her second throw.
On her second try, she did much better, hopping along confidently before deciding to call it quits and heading back along the path she had created earlier. Lowe gave it another shot, throwing a snowball a short distance away before Lacey tried again. She showed improvement on her second attempt as well. Lowe also shared a video on Wednesday of Lacey gleefully rolling around in the snow, only to end up stuck on her back.
