During her introduction, Chloe praised Darnella, an activist who had recently been awarded an honorary Pulitzer Prize for her bravery. Although Darnella couldn’t attend the ceremony, Chloe felt it was important to recognize her contributions to social justice. As for H.E.R., she was pleasantly surprised to win the award and expressed her gratitude for both the recognition and the platform to perform.
