Earlier, Gadot had received reassurances from DCU heads James Gunn and Peter Safran that a Wonder Woman 3 was in the pipeline. However, it has now been uncovered that these supposed promises were never made, and both Gunn and Safran have no intention of pursuing a movie centered around the iconic character.
Currently, the dynamic duo is fully committed to creating a brand new and imaginative version of DC, comprising of captivating films such as ‘Superman: Legacy’ and ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’. It is probable that one of the main reasons behind the cancellation of Gadot’s project is the executives’ determination to start afresh and build a completely new DC universe.
