Remember when: Renaissance will be her first solo studio album since her smash hit Lemonade from 2016, in which she famously confronted the questions around her marriage

Do you remember when? Beyonce is gearing up to release her highly anticipated solo studio album, Renaissance. This album comes four years after her groundbreaking Lemonade, where she fearlessly addressed the rumors and criticisms surrounding her marriage. In true Beyonce fashion, it seems she is not shying away from political commentary with the 14th track titled America Has A Problem.

But that’s not all – the multi-talented diva has more surprises up her sleeve. A medley of songs called Pure/Honey is set to captivate listeners before wrapping up the album with the enchanting track, Summer Renaissance.

For those who can’t wait to get their hands on Beyonce’s latest masterpiece, a pre-order option is available on her website. The CD comes complete with a stunning 28-page photo booklet, a mini poster, and a four-panel softpak – all for just $12.98.

If you’re a die-hard fan looking for something extra special, Beyonce has released various box set editions of the album on her website. Unfortunately, these limited editions have already sold out. Keep an eye out for any restocks in the future!

Plugging the album: 'With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,' she dished last year

Promoting the album: Last year, she excitedly shared, “After enduring a year filled with feelings of isolation and witnessing injustice, it’s safe to say that we are all eagerly prepared to break free, embark on adventures, experience love, and indulge in laughter once more.”

In a previous statement, she expressed her desire for the album to serve as a refreshing retreat for individuals following the chaotic events of 2020. Reflecting on the past year’s solitude and inequality, she revealed her belief that everyone is eager to embark on a journey, experience love and joy once again. Last September, she spoke about sensing a renaissance on the horizon and her determination to contribute to the nourishment of that escape in any possible manner, as featured in Harper’s Bazaar’s Icon issue. Spending a year and a half in the studio, she emphasized the extensive effort she puts into perfecting each musical element. On occasions, it takes her an entire year to personally explore a multitude of sounds in order to discover the ideal kick or snare. Furthermore, she shared that a single chorus can be enriched with up to 200 overlapping harmonies.

Wonderful: 'I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible,' said Beyonce, who is pictured at the BET Awards in 2020

Beyonce, who graced the BET Awards 2020, expressed her delight, saying, “I sense a revival blossoming and I eagerly strive to contribute in fostering that liberation, in whatever manner I can.”

However, there is simply no comparison to the immense love, passion, and therapeutic feeling that engulfs me when I step foot in the recording studio. Even after three decades and counting, the exhilaration I experience rivals that of my nine-year-old self. Rest assured, the musical magic is on its way!

In a recent development, I delighted my fans by releasing the lead single from my upcoming album on June 20th. Just ten days later, I decided to unveil the captivating album cover to the world. This visually stunning piece of art showcases me, Beyonce, baring my gorgeous physique in a dazzling silver bikini, while gracefully riding a futuristic horse.

Swank: 'Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare,' she told the September issue of Harper's Bazaar last year

Swank disclosed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last year that she personally dedicates months to meticulously scouring through an extensive library of sound samples to find the perfect kick or snare for her music.
In a captivating visual, her trusty companion appears to be crafted from a translucent material, giving off a mesmerizing celestial glow.
Following the massive success of her 2016 hit Lemonade, which saw her fearlessly addressing the complexities of her marriage to Jay-Z and his faithfulness, Renaissance will mark her much-anticipated return to the music scene with her own solo studio album.
In the years since Lemonade, she has not just rested on her laurels. She has collaborated with Jay-Z on a joint album, delivered a captivating live album, and even contributed to a set of companion soundtracks for Disney’s realistic adaptation of The Lion King, lending her voice to the enchanting character of Nala.
