A Heartwarming Celebration: Kevin Hart’s Emotional Reaction to His Eldest Daughter, Heaven, Heading off to College

“On Instagram, the comedian expressed their awe at how you have bloomed into an extraordinary young lady like no other.”

Kevin Hart bid farewell to his oldest daughter as she embarks on a new journey in her life! In an Instagram post on Friday evening, the 44-year-old comedian expressed his emotions and shared a touching message about Heaven, his 18-year-old daughter, whom he had just dropped off at college for her first semester. Hart posted a photo of himself with three out of his four children inside what appeared to be a dorm room, and his caption contained a mix of joy and sadness. He wrote, “I’m not shedding tears, it’s you who’s shedding tears. I am incredibly proud of my daughter… She has grown into an exceptional young woman, and I can’t believe she’s not my little girl anymore, but a blossomed butterfly!”

“I’m incredibly proud of you and I love you so much. Soar high, my dear…the world is yours! It’s unbelievable that my baby girl is starting college. I couldn’t help but cry in the car! #Harts,” he expressed.

In the photograph, Hart stood beside Heaven, Hendrix (his 15-year-old son), Kenzo (his 5-year-old son), and his wife Eniko (age 39). They all wore serious expressions, capturing the sentimental significance of the day. Hart has two older children with his ex-wife Torrei Hart and two younger children, including his 2-year-old daughter Kaori, with Eniko.

Torrei also celebrated her daughter’s milestone on Instagram. She posted a picture of both of them on campus and wrote, “And just like that, Heaven is now a college freshman.” She continued, “Late-night studying, crazy campus parties, countless trips for coffee, and experiencing the ramen noodle lifestyle. I’m incredibly proud of you, baby girl. ❤️❤️”

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2022, Hart revealed that his daughter, Heaven, had expressed her desire to attend college outside of their home state. He fondly mentioned that she had mentioned New York as a potential destination. The actor emphasized his close bond with Heaven, describing her as his best friend and the person who holds his heart. However, he also admitted feeling emotional about the fact that she will eventually leave home. Reflecting on her high school graduation in May, Hart took to Instagram to express how proud he was of Heaven. He also commended his niece, Sanny, for being a great role model as she had recently graduated from college herself. He explained that Sanny’s achievement has inspired Heaven, propelling her towards pursuing higher education just like her cousin.

“Iron sharpens iron…throughout history and forevermore. We must inspire one another and persist in our personal growth…Dare to dream big, for goodness’ sake!” he exclaimed. “Yesterday, Heav, you made me unbelievably proud…Doo, Zo, Ori, they’re all looking up to you…You truly are the greatest older sister ever!! We adore you immensely!! #Harts.”
