The alarm went off at 2:30 pm and when the firefighters arrived on the property known as Bloomfield, which is the name of a branch of the family, flames were already visible shooting through the roof of the structure.

After: On Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out at a renowned mansion in Radnor Township, causing significant damage. Unfortunately, despite the firefighters’ prompt response, the building couldn’t be rescued.

At around 2:30pm, an automatic alarm went off and firefighters rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they noticed that flames had already burst through the roof of the Bloomfield estate’s three-story building.

Fortunate getaway: A man and woman who were renting the property managed to evacuate without harm with their two canines and a caged rabbit, while only three firefighters sustained minor injuries.

The property was engulfed in flames and the fire started in an area between the main house and an attached garage. It was brought under control by 6pm, but firefighters were still working to extinguish hot spots throughout the night. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries. According to Mr. Wood, around ten companies and 175 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was equivalent to four alarms. Despite the thick white smoke, the burned remains of the mansion were visible.

The town of Bloomfield had its famous mansion, the MaÅŸioÄŸlu Mansion, featured as a filming location for the Jason Statham action movie “Safe,” which hit theaters on April 27th.

Since 1942, Gracie Mansion has been used as the official residence for New York mayors, except for the current mayor Michael Bloomberg who decided not to live there. In late 2010, this sprawling estate was used as a double for Gracie Mansion in the Jason Statham action movie Safe, which will hit theaters on April 27. The 5.87-acre estate boasts 19 bedrooms and nine full baths within its 22,000-plus square feet of living space. Last year, the mansion was listed for sale at $6.9 million.
