She accessorized her look with a black leather luxury purse with gold hardware crossbody style and carried a shopping bag full of groceries in both hands. Gomez also showed off her black pedicure in her fluffy, casual shoes with a tiny platform.
The singer made a noteworthy appearance at the White House in Washington, DC last week. She attended the Mental Health Youth Action Forum to further her advocacy for mental health. The forum brought together young leaders who are creating new and creative methods to support mental health in the United States.
Selena, who founded the Rare Impact Fund, a nonprofit organization, openly shared her struggles with anxiety and bipolar disorder. Her mantra is that by acknowledging your struggles, you can start to overcome them. She believes that talking about mental health issues makes it easier to handle them.

She believes that discussing mental health openly and without shame is essential and should be encouraged. During a forum, she emphasized the need for mental health services to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their age, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. Additionally, she encourages individuals and organizations to take steps towards destigmatizing mental health and creating resources and programs to improve access to mental health services, particularly for young people.
On Monday, Selena shared two photos of herself sporting a Prada coat on her social media account. She hasn’t been active since then. In one picture, she playfully put her finger in her mouth and wrote, “Perhaps she’s just laughing out loud.”
