Taylor Swift Thrills Amsterdam Crowd with Exclusive Acoustic Performances: Which Special Songs Made the Cut in the ‘Eras Tour’ Stop?

Taylor Swift has been surprising her fans with unexpected song choices during her highly successful Eras Tour, and she didn’t disappoint when she performed in Amsterdam. The 34-year-old singer treated her audience to a unique acoustic set during her first of three concerts in the Netherlands on July 4. Swift showcased new mashups during this intimate part of the show, reaffirming her status as a musical genius.

The Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023, with Swift traveling across the U.S. before taking her show international. Along the way to South America, Australia, and Europe, her supportive partner Travis Kelce joined her to cheer her on. Kelce, 34, surprised fans in London at Wembley Stadium by making an appearance on stage before Swift’s Amsterdam shows.

Kelce shared on his “New Heights” podcast that he had jokingly suggested to Swift that he join her on one of the bikes during the 1989 section of the show. To his surprise, Swift was all for it, and he happily took the opportunity to join her on stage. “I’ve been to the show enough times, might as well put me to work,” Kelce joked.

Kelce made a surprise appearance in the concert, popping up between the songs “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Dressed as a tortured poet, he joined Swift’s dancers on stage to assist her in regaining her composure after she pretended to have a meltdown.

“Just made sure I helped Tay with her makeup and had a great time doing it,” he mentioned on his podcast.
Kelce expressed his excitement about being goofy on stage with professionals and hinted at the possibility of joining Taylor Swift on stage again before the tour concludes this year. “Big thanks to Tay for allowing me to join her on stage. You never know, this may not be the last time,” he teased.

“Caught in a Lie?” x “Unreachable” / “The Bow-wielder” x “Curious…?”
In Amsterdam on the first night, Swift delighted the crowd with a unique mashup of a new TTPD track on guitar seamlessly blending with a lesser-known song from Fearless (Taylor’s Version). Playfully joking, “Let’s see how this one goes,” before diving into the medley. The creativity didn’t stop there as she also revisited the beloved “The Archer” on the piano, originally from the Lover setlist during the Eras Tour, blending it effortlessly with “Question…?” from Midnights.

Swift kicked off the night with a rare live performance of the track “I’m Gonna Get You Back,” which got the crowd singing along enthusiastically. She then smoothly transitioned into the beloved fan-favorite “Dress” from her album Reputation, only to circle back to “IGGYB” for the bridge. During her piano set, Swift explained that she chose “You Are in Love” from her album 1989 because it references bikes, a nod to her fondness for Amsterdam. She also sprinkled in her hit from Evermore, “Cowboy Like Me,” throughout the night.
