The ‘Outlander’ star joined Swift at her second Eras concert in Edinburgh, Scotland, on June 8 alongside fellow cast members of the popular series.
The Outlander crew got their dose of Taylor Swift magic as they attended her Eras show in Edinburgh. Sam Heughan, 44, shared glimpses of the fun-filled evening on his Instagram, where he and his co-stars enjoyed the performance for the second time together. “🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🩶🤍 Wonderful evening back @murrayfield_stadium with the @outlander_starz family!!” Heughan captioned the photos and videos from the event.
“Big thanks to @louisamcculloch3 and @nightmaril for putting together an amazing event, and of course, to @taylorswift for delivering an unforgettable night of entertainment! 🫶,” he mentioned, giving a shoutout to the executive producer of Outlander, Maril Davis. He concluded with, “What a fantastic fusion of Outlander and Swifties! #OutlanderSwifties.”
In his latest Instagram post, Heughan was seen enjoying a Taylor Swift concert with his Outlander co-stars. The first photo showed Heughan and John Hunter Bell proudly displaying their stack of friendship bracelets, a popular accessory among fans at Swift’s shows. The next image was a group selfie of Heughan with Izzy Meikle-Small, Charles Vandervaart, Richard Rankin, Caitlin O’Ryan, Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton, Lauren Lyle, and Joey Phillips having a great time at Murrayfield Stadium during the concert.
Heughan appeared joyful in another picture while standing alongside two individuals at Swift’s concert.
On his Instagram Stories, the actor posted more content from his experience at Swift’s concert. He first shared a post from the Outlander Instagram Stories, where the TV show mentioned the “Swiftlander” phenomenon, along with a post from X (formerly Twitter) announcing the actor’s presence at the show.
Another of Heughan’s Instagram Stories clips showed Swift on stage performing “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince.” The camera then revealed various Outlander cast members dancing to the song in their section.
A second humorous video featured Swift and her dancers on stage wearing matching hooded capes, with Heughan adding the caption “Swiftlander” as the Outlander theme song played in the background.
Heughan made a playful appearance at Swift’s show, jokingly suggesting that the singer would forget about Travis Kelce once she saw him in the audience. In a video posted on Instagram, Heughan, dressed in costume, mentioned that he and the cast were planning to attend Swift’s concert in Scotland. He humorously implied that Swift would be unable to resist his charm and fall for a man in a ginger wig, hinting at himself. He cheekily teased Kelce, suggesting that Swift would choose him over the football player. “I’m really looking forward to it!” Heughan added with a grin.
