Katy Perry defied Russell Brand’s wish for her to dress conservatively at the MTV Europe Music Awards and decided to pay tribute to his beloved football team, West Ham, by wearing an outfit of her own choice on stage.
Prior to her appearance on stage in Berlin, Katy took a moment to chat with the Mirror and playfully mentioned how her significant other, Russ, might prefer her to dress up as a crossing guard, with every inch of her body covered.
The comedian was ecstatic when she presented some of the awards wearing a corset and hot pants with West Ham logos on her chest and Russell’s nickname, ‘Rusty,’ on her backside.
Russell took to Twitter with joy, sharing his excitement about seeing his girlfriend sporting a West Ham basque at the EMA’s. In a playful manner, he also talked about the thought of bringing Gandhi back to life and spending time with him.
At 34 years old, they’ve decided to surprise Katy, who’s 25, with tickets to a West Ham game at Upton Park.
