Aniston went to the High School of the Performing Arts in New York City and honed her acting skills by performing in Off-Broadway plays for many years. She made her television debut in 1989, landing roles in two shows that unfortunately did not find success.

In Molloy (1990) and the TV series Ferris Bueller (1990-91), inspired by the iconic movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off from 1986, she portrayed the character of Ferris’s elder sister.
