Jennifer Aniston, born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California, is an American actress who shot to fame starring in the beloved TV show Friends from 1994 to 2004 before making a successful transition to the big screen.
Aniston’s parents split up when she was just nine years old, leading her to be raised primarily by her mother as her father pursued a career in acting, particularly appearing on the popular soap opera, Days of Our Lives.
Aniston went to the High School of the Performing Arts in New York City and honed her acting skills by performing in Off-Broadway plays for many years. She made her television debut in 1989, landing roles in two shows that unfortunately did not find success.
In Molloy (1990) and the TV series Ferris Bueller (1990-91), inspired by the iconic movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off from 1986, she portrayed the character of Ferris’s elder sister.
