Known for being a top tourist spot, the park is a sanctuary for over 300 animals such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Shakira, 33, appeared at ease as she interacted with the charming nine-week-old brown lion cub, Waz, and the white cub, Fernando, showing off her playful side.

However, it wasn’t long before she was back to work, meeting with young girls from Africa to promote 1GOAL, an initiative under the Global Campaign for Education. During their meeting, Shakira conversed with Diane Takawira from Zimbabwe, Mary Chileshe from Zambia, and Nthabiseng Tshabalala from South Africa about their school experiences.
