The allegations made in the interview included claims of Hart’s infidelity and gambling addiction, which he deemed harmful to his reputation. Tasha K posted a teaser on YouTube, emphasizing the supposed scandalous nature of the interview and warning that they would resort to any means necessary to obtain money if the ransom wasn’t paid. Hart’s team escalated the situation by involving the police and issuing a cease and desist letter to Tasha K.

According to exclusive legal records obtained by The Blast, comedian Kevin Hart has claimed that Tasha K (also known as Latasha Transrina Kebe) approached him with a request for payment in order to prevent the release of an interview. In response, Hart chose to send her a formal cease and desist letter.

According to an article by People, a letter has been sent stating that Shakes, while working for Hart, had agreed to a non-disclosure agreement. The letter further states that sharing the interview would be seen as intentionally interfering with the contractual relationship between Hart and Shakes. As reported by Page Six, Kebe, the publisher, informed Hart that the interview would be published in its entirety on December 22. It was later released on her subscription-based website. Hart is now suing both Kebe and Shakes for extortion and invasion of privacy. Additionally, Shakes is being sued for breach of contract and defamation, while Hart is also suing Kebe for intentional interference with contractual relations and defamation.

The LA Times reports that Kebe Studios LLC, the company owned by Kebe, is facing legal action for defamation, civil extortion, breach of contract, and invasion of privacy. According to Kevin’s lawsuit, Kebe has a track record of posting harmful and false content about celebrities. Cardi B previously won a defamation lawsuit against Kebe. Responding to the lawsuit news, Kebe shared more clips from the interview on her Instagram, accompanied by a disclaimer stating that the opinions expressed in the video are those of the guest and not Tasha K or the production company. Kebe emphasized that all topics discussed are intended for entertainment purposes and should be viewed with discretion. The statement further clarified that everything presented is alleged and should be considered as comedy and satire.
