“Jason Statham’s Heartwarming Message of Gratitude to a Brave Care Home Resident”

Joyce Ensell, a resident of a care home, received a heartwarming video message from the Hollywood superstar Jason Statham on her 100th birthday. In the video, Statham commended Joyce for her valiant efforts during World War Two as a former leading aircraftwoman. He expressed his appreciation for her bravery and referred to her as a true hero, exemplifying the definition of heroism.

Ms Ensell, who was a part of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) from 1941 to 1944 and had achieved the rank of leading aircraftwoman, recently celebrated her milestone birthday at Royal Star and Garter in Solihull. The staff at the facility arranged for a surprise video message from famous actor Jason Statham. In the heartfelt birthday message, Statham expressed his admiration for Ms Ensell’s heroic service in the Royal Air Force during World War II and thanked her for her bravery. He also stated that being a part of the military during the war is the true definition of a hero. Ms Ensell was undoubtedly thrilled and touched by the kind words from her favorite actor on her special day.

Known for his tough-guy persona in action-packed thrillers, Jason Statham has made a name for himself in Hollywood with roles in popular films such as the Transporter trilogy, the Fast and the Furious franchise, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It is reported that Ms. Ensell frequently enjoys watching these films from the comfort of her own room.

Joyce Ensell was born into a mining family in Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne in 1921. While serving in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF), she met her future husband Leslie, an electrician with the Royal Air Force, during the war. After tying the knot in 1943, the couple settled in Birmingham, where Joyce worked as a school lunch lady throughout the 1950s and ’60s.

In addition to the birthday message, the staff organized a celebration for Ms. Ensell’s special day, complete with a life-sized cardboard cutout of her favorite actor, a cake, flowers, and a card from Her Majesty The Queen. Ms. Ensell enjoyed her birthday with fellow residents and indulged in a slice of cake and a glass of bubbly. Despite turning 100, she felt grateful and happy, expressing her appreciation to everyone at Royal Star Garter for making her day a memorable one.
