According to her representative, Selena’s stay in the rehabilitation center was not due to substance abuse but rather, she needed a break after a jam-packed year of continuous filming, concerts, TV appearances, touring, and promotional work. Billboard also reported that a source shared the same reason for Selena’s admission, saying that she was completely exhausted.
